AFRICAN-AMERICAN HERITAGE TEA
For All Levels:
Girl Scouts of Central Texas is honored to invite you to our 2nd Annual African American Heritage Tea. Join Girl Scouts of Central Texas in celebrating African American Heritage in Girl Scouting. Everyone is welcome. This is not a drop off event safety-wise guidelines apply for all girls. Registration fee for this event is $15 per person. Registration fee includes: an exclusive designer patch, assorted tea options, tea snacks and beverages, engaging activities including: a Mae Reeves Hat Making Contest, Fun activities, educational exhibits, and more focused on African American girls and women for Black History month. Opened to the public, ages 5-18 and adults. This is not a drop off event - ADULTS MUST REGISTER TO ACCOMPANY GIRLS.
Parking: Free parking is available
Special Instructions: Please plan to be there by 3:00 p.m.
Items to bring/wear: Recommended Dress: Optional Tea Party Attire or Dress Casual. Girls will have the option of designing their own Tea Party Hat during the event, and participating in a Hat Contest
Schedule of activities: 3:00 – 3:30 pm Check-in and Activities
3:30 – 4:00 p.m. Tea Time
4:00 – 4:30 p.m. Program, Special Guest Speakers, and Hat Contest
4:30 – 5:00 p.m. Activities
Tagalong Notes: We will not be able to accept tagalongs (unregistered siblings).
