AFRICAN-AMERICAN HERITAGE TEA

For All Levels:

Girl Scouts of Central Texas is honored to invite you to our 2^nd Annual African American Heritage Tea. Join Girl Scouts of Central Texas in celebrating African American Heritage in Girl Scouting. Everyone is welcome. This is not a drop off event safety-wise guidelines apply for all girls. Registration fee for this event is $15 per person. Registration fee includes: an exclusive designer patch, assorted tea options, tea snacks and beverages, engaging activities including: a Mae Reeves Hat Making Contest, Fun activities, educational exhibits, and more focused on African American girls and women for Black History month. Opened to the public, ages 5-18 and adults. This is not a drop off event - ADULTS MUST REGISTER TO ACCOMPANY GIRLS. 

Parking:         Free parking is available

Special Instructions:   Please plan to be there by 3:00 p.m.

Items to bring/wear:  Recommended Dress: Optional Tea Party Attire or Dress Casual. Girls will have the option of designing their own Tea Party Hat during the event, and participating in a Hat Contest

Schedule of activities:         3:00 – 3:30 pm            Check-in and Activities

3:30 – 4:00 p.m.          Tea Time

4:00 – 4:30 p.m.          Program, Special Guest Speakers, and Hat Contest

4:30 – 5:00 p.m.          Activities

Tagalong Notes:       We  will not be able to accept tagalongs (unregistered siblings).
