Howdy Day Camp

We are using Doubleknot to manage registrations. You will not find this registration in your MyGS account when completed. MyGS is related to gsEvents, not Doubleknot. If you do not have a Doubleknot login, you can create one during the registration by selecting "Create New User Profile" when you get to the Login Screen. Do not attempt to login with your MyGS logon.

Camp Howdy Apocalypse!

Girls must be registered Girl Scout members to attend.

For: Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, Ambassador, Adult Volunteers. 

It’s a Camp Howdy apocalypse! Gain basic survival skills and be ready for any emergency situations. Learn how to shelter in place, tie knots, safely use knives, and build an emergency shelter. This is a 100% volunteer-led and unique Girl Scout day camp experience. 

 

** In addition to the Campers, we will need older girls to be Aides-in-Training, and Aides. For more info, visit the Howdy Day Camp Aide Information

Below you will see a description and cost for each type of registrant, as well as relevant registration dates.  If you register prior to April 30, you will receive a $10 discount on the registration that will automatically be applied.

 

From 3/15 to 4/1:

- Registration for adult volunteers and their kids {Campers (rising grades 1 to 5), Campcraft (rising grade 6), Pixies, Wranglers, and Broncos}

- Registration for AITs (does not require an adult to register first)

- Registration for Aides (does not require an adult to register first)

From 4/2 to 4/30: 

- Howdy Day Camp Participant Registration (early)

- General registration for any space remaining

From 5/1 to 5/15:

- Howdy Day Camp Participant Registration (regular)

- General registration for any space remaining

 

This is to ensure that we have enough Adult Volunteers to maintain our safety wise numbers. The above information and more can be found on our website 

 

Cost:

Camper (girls entering 1st through 5th grade in Fall). $50 $60
Campcraft (girls entering 6th grade in Fall) $55 $65
Aide-In-Training (girls entering 7th grade and up in Fall) $65 $75
Aide (girls who are rising to 8th to 12th grade / High School graduate who completed Aide-in-Training) $15 $25
Wrangler (boys entering 7th grade and up in Fall) $15 $25
Bronco (boys entering 1st - 6th grade in Fall of full-time adult volunteers) $30 $40
Pixie (pre-school children of full-time adult volunteers) $0 $0

 

T-Shirts: For registrations received prior to May 11. 2023, a camp T-shirt will be included in the registration fee for Volunteers, Campers, Campcraft, Wranglers, and Broncos.

An Aides in Training T-shirt or Aides T-shirt will be included in the registration fee for Aides in Training and Aides respectively.

  • After May 10, 2023 not t-shirts will be included as part of the registration, nor will they be available for purchase.
  • In addition to the Campers, we will need older girls to be Aides-in-Training, and Aides. For more info, visit the Howdy Day Camp Aide Information.
  • Health Forms: You can complete the health forms HERE. Once completed, you can email the health forms:

Payment types accepted: Credit card or Program Credits. To apply Program Credits to your order, you must register first and then complete a Program Credit Form and submit. Once Customer Care receives your form, we can apply it to your order. You will have to pay for your registration in full prior to submitting the form, but once applied, we will issue a refund for that amount back to your credit card.

 

* All participants will need an email address entered. For participants that do not have their own email, please enter the caregiver's email.

After you complete your registration, you will be sent an email confirmation from Doubleknot. If you do not receive it, check your SPAM folders. If not there, please contact Customer Care. When you receive that email, be sure to scroll down to see important information in the YELLOW section. You will receive another email closer to the Start Date from the Howdy Day Camp team with any additional information you may require.

Cancellation Policy
Refund policy: Full refund if cancelled by May 1st. If between May 1st and May 15th, refund will be the camp fee minus $15 (to help offset supply costs purchased prior to May 1st). No refunds after May 15th.
